T5GP DSG Gearbox upgrade

I must admit the lag before delivery of power is dangerous.
After changing from a 97 T4 to a 2010 T5, the delay in take-up caught me by surprise a couple of times.
No accidents thankfully, but I did end up in intersections with people flashing their lights at me while I scurried away!!

Yes i understand, i also find sometimes the delay can be dangerous. unfortunately thats electronics for you. And obviously we have to wait for software updates to rectify the problem.

As for sealed for life, well i have also queried this. AS amarok fluids are for life also.
Best response i could get was, that at some stage in its life the box may be repaired which in turn the oil will get changed. Personally if i owned 1 i would probaly get the oil changed between 60-100k.
