    According to the seller...

These are definitely in the T5 transporter, may be present under mat of other basic models. Please check, buyer responsibility.

Could be worth looking under the flooring in your van or if you have a friendly VW agent give them a call?

Good luck with the bidding, Rob

You need the matching fixing points. These can be purchased as a spare part and fitted as per the T5 Kombi.

You would need engineering as your van would be registered as only carrying 2 (cab bucket seats) or 3 (cab bench seat).

If its like any other VW that the bits interchange then the holes will be there or there will be marks on the floor where they should be drilled.
I could not tell you for certain about the T5 but on the T4 all the hole points for which ever model you wanted to do, There was indentations made in the floor.
I would bet the T5 is the same.
Could you not ask the seller to sell you or take some photos of the mounting brackets?
Go on buy it and then we can all help you sort things out.
If VW Oz want silly money for the parts then let me know and I will get a fellow Pom to get a price for you....
          Hope I can help.

He guys I used to have business manufacturing and fitting extra seats to vans wagons 4wds etc its very rare to find original locking fittings on floors of lesser specked vans you may see the indents as mentioned but you have to be cautious as original vans fitted with seats usually have the mounting points with nuts welded to a reinforcing plate fitted at factory on the underside .
Now this seat is a factory seat and would require considerable work to fit as the mounting plates etc have to withstand considerable lateral G forces , you see if the seat belts are mounted to the seat as this one does the load is incredible . We used to have our own hydraulic testing equipment and the loads generated are huge for this style of seat , if my memory serves me well for each passenger the average load weight is 68kgs x 3 plus seat weight x approx 10times so that is pull tested to 504 nm load again from memory so at the end of the day the load generated on the mounting points is approx 3 tons Plus . We spent a fortune building our own seats and destroyed so many until we satisfied the engineers and ADR compliance . Regards Howard

              Sunny23.5,
I get what you are saying but when we retro fitted the VW seats in the UK the holes went through the chassis.
You can then weld/tack the nuts into position.
For the other guys out there that have never seen the testing of a seat here is a quick link to show you.
This testing was done at the testing facility at the University where I used to work in the UK.

The seat in the ebay auction looks like a Crewvan middle seat. I have the same seat from my old van.
The mounting points will not be under the floor mat of an empty van. Not sure if you can buy them or not.

If you are interested in one of those seats, mine is for sale, and I can deliver it to Sydney in JUly, as I will be up there then.

                    Hi Greg,
Yes I do. It is the middle seat from a 2007 T5 Crewvan.
                    I also have a 2 seater middle seat from a T4.
