Shipping from Aus to UK

Bit of a longshot but there seems to be a few English about here. I'm needing to ship something back to the UK, time isn't important just don't want to spend $400 shipping a surfboard worth $400!

Anyone moving to the UK and sending a container that I could stick a longboard in? (not a Corby style board!!) or know of any such service / people?

Are you a member of any of the Pom forums?

You might be able to find a ping pom that could take it from where you live to the UK in there container?

You could have a look at PomsInOz Australia Migration & British Expats Forum or British Expatriate Community : British Expat Community

Just a starting point will have a look round for some more ideas.

Here,s an idea approach one of the cable TV networks Discovery or like and pitch an idea of someone paddling the board back to the UK . Lets face it there are so many idiots these days making a motza of money on some of these hair brain ideas it might be worth a consideration . I am sure our forum brothers can come up with some stunts to do along the way worth filming . LOL Howard
