Not sure who sells it in Melbourne, I buy it from a Qld company, and they post it to me.
I supposedly get trade price. I'll get a price and let you know, or you can buy a small qty from me, as I'll be getting a 4 lt bottle of it.

I have read on some 4x4 forums about some brands that do absolutely nothing.

      Not getting better than 11l/km

My 132 4motion Multivan is so far with only 1700 on the clock, only done a best of 11 and we even did 400 k on freeway, but I think my wife is a bit of a lead foot when she drives it.

Was hoping I could achieve under 10 around town and under 9 highway. We will see if it improves as the engine loosens up a bit with a few more km's

By not much. I couldn't see any difference in mine. The key in how to get the good fuel economy out of the TDI is to keep the revs close to the peak torque and remember when you have your foot off the GO pedal the consumption is "0.00". But don't aim for the best fuel economy now, it is too soon.

What diesel fuel are you using, make sure you get the highest CN (cetane number / similar to octane no. in petrol) rated fuel.

Did a loooong trip yesterday to Adelaide and back.
Sitting on 110 km/h (GPS speed, 113 on the speedo) chews quite a bit more juice than sitting on 100 km/h.
Here are the figures I got for the total trip (trip 1 in the pics), and the figures for the stretch from Bordertown back to Melbourne mainly sitting on 100 km/h (trip 2 in the pics).

This was without fuel additives. I will be doing a similar trip to Sydney soon, using fuel additive. I will post those results when I have them.

            Quick trip to the snow

Quick trip to the snow, came out with figures I would expect.
Sydney to Smiggin Holes 492 km average 8.6l/100 but I gunned it in sports mode on the way up the mountain and also had quite a bit of traffic from Manly to City.
Smiggin Holes to Manly 490 km average 8.1l/100 - around mittagong on the way back I hade an average of 7.1 but it startedto climb a bit from there with Traffic etc. was on cruise control most of the way at 110.

4 motion went really well in the snow, had to gun it up a bit of a steep ice covered slope to drop luggage at the lodge and easily handled it. The kids didn't complain all the way there or back so am happy that we have made the right decision on this vehicle rather than a big 4wd.
