The last ex-Police T5 I worked on, still had the antenna mount fitted. Whether this is standard procedure (or lack thereof), I'm not sure.

Isn't funny how some companies operate?

Many forget today's "no sale" inquiry can be tomorrows big sale. They ignore the basic rules on builidng brand. I was always taught to treat every inquiry with the same importance even though it may be evident that no immediate sale would result. It was called "being professional".

I'll give this another go on the weekend. I find it a PITA making templates with card. I've got some stiff plastic to use for my mock up this time round...

We get one that's still in active service that comes in from time to time. If I remember, I'll get a snap of the aerial brackets.

They do do a good job of putting them together, however the general treatment of the vans by the Police leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn't recommend a used one to anybody. Same goes for ex-ambos.

Sorry, did anyone find a supplier to the general public for the UHF antenna mounts, such as used by the Police vans under their front bonnet at the windscreen?
Thanks for any advice as I want to replace my magnetic mount. Keep forgetting it's there.

ETT in NSW made them but do not generally sell to the public.
