Tracking new 4 motion multivan

Have ordered up multivan in June and trying to track it .Does anybody know if I just put the vin number in the cargo ID on the shipping website or do I need to register and login to shipping site and then put vin in.

I didn't know you could track it, I've been just emailing the dealer and he has been providing me with the schedule of the build.

Dealer advised me once he has confirmation of it getting onto the boat they can get pretty confidant of the hand over date baring any delays on the dock in AUS.
My 4motion should be here either just before Xmas or early Jan.

Thats good news.Looks like my 4 motion is on its way at last.You can track your vehicle by going to the thread that Rob has shown.Once you are into the shipping website just put your vin number into the cargo ID.If your vehicle is on a ship it should show up if not you will see Not Found.Good luck

What boat is it on ?

Ours is on the Topeka with arrival in Sydney on the 19th of December, delivery to us early January.

It left Bremerhaven on 09/11/2010 and is at Zeebrugge at the moment.Its then onto Southhampton UK 11/11/10,Le Harve France 12/11/10,Port Elizabeth South Africa 28/11/10,East London South africa 29/11/10,Durban South Africa 30/11/10,Fremantle australia 11/12/10,Melbourne 16/12/10 and final stop for my van Port Kembla 18/12/10.Dont know how long it will take to clear customs,but probably looking at around the same date as you.Its great that it is finally on its way!

All this chatting about arrival dates is making me want to know when mine is getting on the boat.

Why dont you ask your dealer for your vin number so you can track yourself or ask the dealer for the ETA data so you can see what stage your vehicle is at.The data will tell you the stages from when you ordered through to being built and then to shipment.Hope this helps.

Dealer has been giving me the tracking information with VIN etc.
I called and spoke to the dealer today and he explained that once the Multivan goes past checkpoint 8 (2nd Nov) then it's 10 weeks until delivery. With Christmas in there we're destined to get the bus close to end Jan or early Feb.
We always suspected Feb so it's all good.
I'll jump onto the tracker on Monday, running MAC with Safari at home and I don't want to run another browser.

Mine was at checkpoint 8 on the 15/10/10 and I didnt pick mine up on cargo ID until 10/11/10, which was the day after it had been loaded aboard the ship AIDA.Arrival was 19/12/10 to Port Kembla but is now 22/12/10.I have been told by the dealer to allow 10 days for clearance at customs.

My 4Motion was loaded on the vessell (TRISTAN) on the 27-11-2010 and will arrive at PORT KEMBLA on the 09-01-2011.
Allowing customs and some buffer I should have the Multivan by 1st week of Feb.

The TRISTAN docked on the 8th Jan and some of the Multivans have started arriving at the dealership today. My 4motion isn't too far away now, should have it for the weekend of the 22nd-23rd Jan.

We picked up our Multivan on the 7th Feb.Its been a long wait but well worth it. Multivan is a great vehicle to drive when I can get to the drivers seat before the wife.Found that the Multivan very economical,drove from Sydney to Tamworth and only used half tank of diesel.Did notice though that you can not use bio diesel.Dont know why you cannot use it and how much of a problem this will be as most fuel stations sell bio diesel around our region.
