  • Mrs Hawk's new Multivan

Than Multivan is in, I'll be picking it up in the morning and I'm more than a little excited

Sam from Bayford Volkswagen was kind enough to grab a couple of shots on his iPhone and send them over this afternoon, so here he is in all his glory (I say his because my Wife has already named him Dexter, unless of course she changes her mind).

The stereo was upgraded to a Pioneer AVIC F20BT with provides reversing camera, bluetooth and iPod/iPhone support. It looks like it has integrated very well into the dash too:

Looking forward to the drive tomorrow, already have the bag packed and ready to go for the 5am start it's going to take to get down to Melbourne.

LOOKOUT Mexicans, here comes the Hawk

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Looks great Aaron, love the colour and you'll definitely stand out from the crowd.

Any plans? Bags? Hektik 20s? Tint? Neons?

That colour really does look good with that new front.

Wow, it really does stand out with that paint!

I agree with Maca, needs tint and 22" Vault's from Tempe

You so need to make teeth to fill the air dam to compete the "face-like" look of the front end.

Being the family car, I'm going to attempt to leave this one stock. The windows will get a dark tint and that's about it... except maybe a chip...

The Pioneer is aftermarket, I was originally going with the RNS-510 but for a number of reasons ended up here instead. Will reserve final judgement until I see how it all works, but from 1,000km away it looks great

              Looks good man!

I think some euro plates would suit Dexter!

I was contemplating detouring past Bayford to have a sticky beak today...and now I really want to check out that Pioneer!

You will have to be motoring to pick it up in the morning if you leave at 5am for a 1000km drive!

I was contemplating Euro plates on our 2009 Caravelle, but when I found out they were $500 I didn't worry!

It's a flight into Melbourne at 8:30 am then over to Bayford the drive home... going to be a long day, but not the first time I've flown somewhere to pick up a car

Oh yeah...I forgot about those flying things...
Bugger, probably won't get to see it in the flesh then!

Nice, Aaron. Looks good. A lot of coin but i guess they are a pretty good unit. A lot of the Bretheren people here own them. They're notoriously hard on motorvehicles and they seem to take the beating..

(my old man has a lot of bretheren customers- nice people. They always pay their bills.)

                          Hi Hawk,

I had to make some minor adjustments to your car today. Coding changes for parking aid and so on.... The stereo does look really good. The reverse camera image and maps are nice and clear . Come and say Hi if you get the chance....

                            *ahem*

I see the title of this thread is "The Hawk's new Multivan" I do believe it's actually Mrs Hawk's new Multivan

That said, Mr Hawk is far more excited about Dexter than me at the moment LOL!

Dexter looks great Mrs_Hawk. Nice alloy wheels too.

So, the therad should be renamed to Mrs_Hawk new Multivan and Aaron can drive it too.
