      • I remember when I was younger I had a Valiant wagon that looked like this the wheels were so wide that when you went over a bump a wisp of smoke would come off of the tyres as they scraped on the inner edge of the guards even with the edges turned back . Scared the crap out of me as I was always waiting for the day the side wall would get cut right through and blow out . Howard [if its too loud then your too old ]

        • well this is one of the two development vans from airlift uk that get a full bag setup build in. as far as I am aware there were only 2 before and both were custom setups, which weren't suitable for mass production!

love the slammed look on the t4!

DIY mate, way to go. If you do it right it isn't too expensive at all. Or do the prep for the painter. There are options out there. 2 weekends with a helper and no sleep and you'll be laughing! (From the joy of having a new paint job not the sleep deprivation that is... )

But the RNS-510 is perfect in the dash!

Next up is the RVC install!!

                      Do you have a link?
                      What was the total cost?
Did you snap any progress pictures?
Is it worth it, or would buying a brand name 7" (Pioneer, Sony, etc.) locally be a better choice?

Sorry I don't have a link as it was ordered by a friend who imported it as part of another larger order. I believe they are the same as on eBay, but this one has the LED version screen, from Lithuanian seller.

The total cost was around $2500 which included the RNS, some antennas, adaptors, cabling, upgrade to LED screen and SSD HD and rear view camera etc.

I don't have any installation pics/DIY sadly, I am not patient enough to document my work. I had a lot of help with the install from a few mates as well that know their stuff with CANBUS.

I think it is the best solution for the vehicle, it is on the latest maps and has a rapid speed as the SSD in it. I could not find a unit that was as good, despite them being cheaper, but I love the OEM finish and feel. I have also managed to get full height MFD integration on the dash.
