More info. Which model car is this key fob from. Are there any part no.s on the pcb? I would guess the antenna is the track around the outside. Try to search web with any pcb part no. identified. Or model of remote and add words like schematic or pcb layout , silkscreen.

Thanks...I hadn't noticed that bit before!... All the Google searches I did stated it was a flat or raised silver box (none of them were VW fobs).. so thought it might be that flat silver bit to the right of the left pic.
I have a spare board, so a going to experiment with extending the antenna by soldering a wire on to the antenna.. once I identify for sureComment
