Probably because the roads and highways in Europe a superior to ours and they can get around with their vans lowered that much .

Couldn't agree more.

But in my web travels for the Mk7 thread I do see some amazing Transporters and Caddys worked over for the shows either as actual show cars or support vehicles. I still admire the work that goes into some of the creations.

I agree though, and this set up at least shows up as more practical for a day to day use.

Ok maybe 20 mm then , but have a look at the first van . I can,t see how that one can make turns under load or speed without scrubbing the arches .

Yes we have Bilsteins on ours , might be time to crank them up a fraction as they have settled a tad since fitting a few years back .

It has gone down slightly since fitting 5 years ago as sometimes when we go Moto Cross camping and riding the van does bottom out occassionally when heavily loaded .

I am led to believe this is a T4?

Referred to as a VW Eurovan which appears to be the US name for the T4 for a period of time at the turn of the century.
