I picked up a 96 2.5l petrol trakka for $300 and its in great condition other than the auto box, it has done the good old oil cooler milkshake. Ive put 20l through to flush it out but had many recomendations to not waste my time with it. I have a 2.0l petrol with a good manual box and i want to swap it into the trakka. Im chasing a blown manual box from a 2.5 so i can get the bellhousing off it. I have also been told that i need the clutch and final drive too so if anyone in the central coast/ hunter/ sydney area has one or knows where i could find one it would be much appreciated. Has anyone on here done this conversion before? Im pretty confident but just thought i would put the word out there for some guidance or recomendations.
