8-10psi (0.55-0.7bar) stock and 14.5psi (1.0bar) APR - I think that's right anyway

Someone has mentioned in another thread that APR boost peaks or spikes up to 22psi. I remember this because I was going to buy a boost gauge that gave a reading up to 20 psi and then found out the GTI goes beyond that.Originally posted by Kai View Post

I run a boost gauge and boost normally peaks at 1.3 bar before eventually settling at 0.9 bar. 1.3 bar seems like pushing your luck if reliability is concerned? My stock Polo GTi peaks .91 at 3K rpm and settling down .5 - .6 onwardsComment

KO3S turbo fitted to our cars can take up to 20-22 PSI (1.6 bar or there abouts). Talk to APR or GIAC or REVO if you have any real concerns. They are all very helpful. "If can't get behind your troops, feel free to stand in front of them..."Comment
