They were a pair of crossed over 55W spread beams and a hella 181 100W pencil beam down the middle. I'll try to dig out a vid of how bad they were - a vid I should watch if ever I baulk at better lighting in the future. The hardest bit was rounding the bollards that sat on the apex of a few of the corners. Right as you were about to hit the apex they would just disappear from the light spread and you had no idea if you were about to loose a mirror.

Probably a bit late but Cibie Super Oscar $180ea, give or take (assume no globes, from Australian supplier...

Many of my new gen HID/LED aux light reservations validated by this thread. Thumbs Up!

Now to pull the trigger for myself on our Tiggy...and derive a satisfactory mount without resorting to an ECB nudgebar.

Do we have contact details Walrus1948?

thanks for the heads up. I actually just fitted a massive single LED spread beam spottie that I was given. It came in a pair with a LED pencil beam too but there is no way both would fit and they'd weigh too much together. Not much depth but it turns night into day at short ranges which is what I need. The next twilight rallysprint at eastern ck is on this Thursday 16th so i'll take a pic of the car then and give a review. I may co drive the march event but this Thursday will be the last twilight rallysprint I drive till next year for me so the nudge bar and everything will come off again for the hillclimb season.

What time does it start and what entrance is open to get in?

Head to the dragway (not the sydney motorsport park). The pits is the dragway carpark. The gates are open and you can just drive into the pit area where you shouldn't have a drama finding a spot. If not you can park on the access road that leads into the dragway carpark from the gates/entrance pretty easily. shouldn't be a prob to come in though. Rece's start at 5.30pm and first hot runs at 6pm. you can get dinner there.
