  • Engine codes help Perth

Hey guys, dreded Cel light has come on and it'd be awesome if someone with vag software could have a check for me. I'm pretty confident it's just gonna be coolant temp sensor again or the contact on the ignition switch. If anyone is around rocko to CanningVale that'd be sweet. If not I'll just get super cheap to clear it. Cheers guys

Buy a cheapo BT obd device, like $10 delivered out of HK. Smart phone app to clear the codes after reading them.

G'day guys. Cheers for the offers. I scanned it and it's the coolant temp sensor again. So I guess I'm gonna poke around the engine bay this weekend. I'm hoping it's just a loose wire. It only happens when I fang it around a right hand turn. Guess I'll have to take it easy 😭

            What's the fault code?

Probably a good idea to make sure the coolant temp sender isn't leaking into the wiring harness, was a big problem for the 1.6L.
