Now I'm confused, on the black car they look huge. On your red they look awesome, truly awesome... You may have just cost me some money. How do they ride? Any rubbing, harshness due to the lower profile?
I think its the other way around, on the red car they look bad, sitting too high and not spaced out properly

Hahah I really can't see how the red car could be lower

Found a pic with 17" denvers which I personally prefer Click image for larger version

                Would highly depend on offset.
Probably just easier to get a set of rpf1s it's what I want anyway for the weight.

That's even more impressive! So light for such a big wheel

Car is fitted with H&R springs which lower the Polo by around 15mm (from memory). Tyres fitted are 205/40. These wheels are wider than the original Polo 16" rims, and although the offset of the 17" inch rim means it has less inside clearance room, they actually stick out further than the original rim.

                        No issues with rubbing etc.

Going lower means coilovers. Not out of the question, but at the moment ride quality is OK, and the Polo doesn't look like a tractor

Man that red polo looks killa. So nice with those rims. I've seen it around and photos don't do it justice
