Don't over charge a SSB, (if it is the dry cell), It will melt, ask me how I know, that was after 2 days in the race car. You really need a modern smart charger, not the old analogue style I had
At least it didn't catch fire!

Also have one in my scooter, works great, I ride most days but has been left for a week, so light when I got it I thought it was an empty box and I was ripped! Quickly bought the second one for the race car when I actually used it

Car charging systems are not appropriate for lithium

Not much point in using a SLA battery in a car (the 4WD guys uses them because they run gear off the battery at camp while the engine is not running)

I have an Odyssey PC925MJT sitting in the storage
Only ran it for half a year and it has been sitting in the storage getting trickle charged every now and then
May not be the lightest option but I'm letting go cheap
Has 330 cca iirc, you can look up it's spec online anyway

Would you consider moving the battery to the boot Lee? That's what im thinking of doing at some stage.

From a corner weighting point of view, the battery in the std position works best. I forget the numbers though. Front left corner was definitely lower weight than the right.

Nah leave it in the front. You'll undo all the good weight reduction you've done running cables to the back.

Ah gotcha. Not worth the move.

IMO no, I don't think so. A lighter battery in the same position would be less detrimental.
