Gent's - its not meant to be a sales day, so it doesn't need sponsors - its meant as a diagnostic day & a tutorial / education session.

We would like to show you how heat soak can throw a dyno run off 10 - 15kw & how tyre pressures can alter it 5 kw as well.

Hopefully the dyno operator will also be able to run through correction factors, ramp rates & settings as well - and also explain why there can be 15kw difference in 3 consecutive power runs.

i would be there in a heartbeat, however, will be in South Africa from the 27th June to the 17 July. need to know a date to see if i will be back in time. will be very upset if i miss it though, as i have disregarded my Mercury dyno run and want a 'second opinion' so to speak.

Yes, plumbed in like stock. Its solid aluminium, quite nice, not leaking but I think the spring is the culprit and would like to experiment with different springs settings, problem is I only have 1 spring for it and not sure if it is the correct one.

Have a read of the fitting info on the springs, if your car is chipped you probably need an uprated spring.

You might get away with putting some shims under the spring. Probably cheaper to grind down some 50cent bits, than buy a kit from forge.

17th is a thursday, you think you could handle the 19th, what does everyone else think about that.

sorry shaneth....stuffed up the dates. i thought it was strange when you said the 17th was a thursday cos i knew i was getting back on a saturday. so i checked the itinerary again and i get back the morning of the 19th . i will be jet lagged as all hell and running for the nearest bed .

will have to give this one a miss

Same, we are going to the CES dyno day on the 19th so thats no good - We will talk to paul & see what other dates we can come up with - will update next week!
