Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Gfb dv?

    Hi All,

    Interested in your thoughts/experiences surrounding the GFB DV+ T9301.

    Other DV options have been done to death here (Forge 008, APR R1 or the updated 710n) but the GFB valve is stocked in aus and reasonably priced so any feedback would be appreciated.

    Just buy it if you like it. They all perform the same job. I don't know anyone that runs around doing back to back testing so I can't see anyone coming up with a personal opinion that's valid.

      i have the GFB Respons TMS T9025 and it works great sounds great and built great you wont go wrong with GFB and the TurboSmart Kompact TS-0203-1222 is great to my mate has it on his polo

        I'll be heading down the re-circulation path but glad to hear the build quality is high.

        Gavin, I am also very interested in a CC tune. Are there any options in NSW?

          your welcome mate and yeh i have my valve set to plumb back can hear it from the airbox still sounds great and your picking the right tune mate modding becomes addictive hahaha my car was only stock for 3 days then tune hahaha

            Haha looking at your mod list I can see it's addictive!

            This is actually my 2nd 9n3 Gti... I went with the APR tune and dv on my 1st but keen to check out some different options this time round.

                      i would of cryed i dont think i would ever part with my polo i was gonna buy a evo but all you see on the road now is evos hahaha hardly see little polos
