Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Porsche wheels on gti

    Hey all,

    Am liking the look of porsche twistes so am looking in the near future at rocking some on my polo. If anyone has any tips or has rocked them what would i be needing to do so?

    vw_thunder had some on his 9N3 at one point.
    you need adapters and the correct spec twists as there is a number of size options
    Bora gone
    Vento VR6
    MKIV GSW TDI
    7P Touareg TDI

      A above 5 x 112 to 130 PCD adaptor
      Not an uncommon thing in Europe

        Any recommendations for good adapters? Also what are the correct spec wheels?

                      35mm adapter on front

                      15mm adapter on rear

                      Think the wheels were 17X7 and 17X8.5 with a 205/40 and a 215/40

                      They looked so good someone decided to literally steal them off my car

                        Awesome man thanks, obviously they were 5x100 to 5x130 adaptors also?

                        Oh really man, that sucks big time!

                        We're those wheels of a particular model? They look different to the twistes I've been seeing
