Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Well its now been 2 weeks since i had a Custom-Code reflash done by Gavin (H100VW). He has fantastic customer service and would do almost anything for his customers. (trust me i know)

What can i say, Its fantastic and the way it should have been from factory. Its a completely different car. I love it. More power all over but at 3000rpm it gets a nice surge. Put your foot down at 80km/h in 5th and away she goes no need to change gears anymore. Max boost is 17.5 psi which is also good as its not pushing the limits of the turbo. Will be going back to a dyno soon and running down the drags as well.

As you tried the APR remap (i'm not sure about the version V1 or V2 but you tried it), compared to it, how does it feel ?
