Thanks for the post! really appreciate seeing who else has done it and what they used. Really interested to see how much of a difference it will make. I already have a APR tune just wondering how much more power this will produce and if its really worth its money.

There'll be negligible increase in power, but power will be maintained longer without the heat soak that you may currently be experiencing. I also found the car was marginally more linear as it came on boost, perhaps a result of the larger core so a little bit of lag, but actually prefer it - wouldn't say it deteriorates the way the car drives in anyway. On my daily, it's just a usual stage 1 equivalent tune, FMIC and usual supporting mods, no dump pipe.
I have the seat sport FMIC on both of my polo's and still get heat soak when on the track, but takes at least few laps on warm days. You can't replicate that driving style on the street. I have/am considering changing the FMIC on the track car, but won't be anytime soon.
