Thanks for the good info there guys. I underestimated the complexity in getting a set of used 17" rims to fit the car.
The first thing to throw me out was the casting said 5x114 when the PO said they were 5x100. Told the guy I was pissed but he assured me they were 5x100, so I measured and sure enough, he's right lol. The cheapo factory that make them must just use the same castings for the different PCD's.
Second challenge is they needed new locating/spigot rings to fit the pog. Ordered those, minimal drama.
Third challenge is the wheel stud/bolt holes are too small a diameter...grrr. Looks like they are designed for an M12 bolt, not the pog's M14. So now I'm debating taking them to an engineering shop to get them opened up...
Final challenge (at least at this stage) is I'll need new bolts that match up with the wheel's 60 degree seats, not the curved or cupped ones as standard.
Why the #$%! I didn't just buy some brand new wheels and save myself a whole heap of hassle, I don't know. I had no idea it could be so difficult.
