I've got stock suspension cept for bushes. Hard to break traction in second with good tyres. With average tyres could get 3rd going.

Haha probably Gav - I'm using your 5th gear styleOriginally posted by h100vw View PostI am sure you can use less fuel than that mate!
I have some Superpro bushes on the shelf if you fancy going that road. The ones can be set to anti-lift, the same as I have in mine.

Would be happy with the superpro bushes - will give you a buzz.Mods >1

I think from memory I have about 7.25 for timing (Gav may remember better than I do). I still have the Conti's on it which have good tread but are cracking a bit on the sidewalls. You do have to really hang on to the steering wheel when the boost comes on but now that I'm used to it it's not too bad. I also have the Powerflex track dogbone bush which seems to keep things together really well. The vibration from the dogbone has settled down a bit, but is still very noticeable with the a/c on. I just turn the stereo upOriginally posted by noone View PostGood news. I find the power to be quite peaky (esp in 1st). How much timing do you have dialed in? From memory I have around 8 deg.
I have no idea how you've been managing with the extra power, I have coilies, front and rear sways, front brace and semi-slicks and can break traction in second if the surface isn't great. Most of our power mods are the same

We didn't get to 11 that's for sure. I remember leaving it a bit in reserve for the hot days.
I can turn up the idle to stop the buzz from the AC/dogbone.
