Who do you use on the Sunshine Coast to look after modified GTI's ?

I reckon you'd be better off taking the drive into Brisbane. There are a few specialists here and I'd recommend Jimmy (JMAC).
Current: 2023 MY23 T-Roc R Lapiz Blue + Beats Audio + Black pack 2018 MY19 Golf R manual Lapiz Blue + DAP) 2014 Amarok TSI Red (tuned over 200kw + lots of extras) 2013 Up! manual Red 2017 Polo GTI manual Black Previous VWs and some others ...

I would also agree with the others about driving down and taking your car to Jimmy Mac. He's a top bloke, and uses genuine VW gear and has the whole shabang on diagnostic gear and anything else you might want done to your car. I've had my vehicle serviced by him and not only does he charge far more than reasonable rates, he does the best job I've seen around. He's definately a highly recommended repairer, and even if it's just for a chat to dig at what he knows is also an absolute pleasure. PM him but be warned that his PM box is frequently full from all people asking him various questions regarding all sorts of dubs. Furthermore, if you are looking to get it looked at, you might have to wait till after the easter period as (Congrats Jimmy), is the father of a newborn! PM him and I'm sure he'll be more than happy to help you out in any way he can.

IF in failing that, another top bloke who's also a complete nutter is Peter Jackson. He's down at Highway Volkswagen, and he too is someone who doesnt bat an eye at the most obscure questions of faults with dubs. He was recommended to me by Jimmy to have my warrenty issues looked at, and this guy definately has the answers and know how as well. However you will be paying more as he is in a dealership workshop, so depends on your availablity and the mechanics.

Exactly my point. He charges so little that it's almost ludicrous!
