Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Vag-Diagnostics.com Installation Instructions

    Hi everyone,

Sorry not trying to start anything on the ethics of Vag-Viagnostics, just looking for a copy of the installation instructions for a friend who has lost the instructions and now has a new computer, hence needs to reinstall.

    Cheers,

    Scott.

      Hi,

Thanks for your link but unfortunately, this is for the Genuine Ross-Tech cable. I need the different installation instructions specific to the Vag-Diagnostics.com cable which is different.

      Cheers,

      Scott

Scott: Oops, Clearly I didn't read your request correctly. Please disregard my last post. You want the installation manual, not the instruction manual. Below is a copy of the "Getting Started" leaflet that I got with my cable. Hope this is what you're looking for

Brad: My error, but thanks for the equation (albeit it would have been more eloquent written in spherical coordinates!)

Thanks for the replies everyone. Unfortunately we have been emailing them since last year with no reply whatsoever.

Unfortunately the vag-diagnostics.com cable has a special installation sequence as sadly it is a rip off of the Ross-Tech one.

Still need a hand with this mate? Let me know as I have the instructions for the ripoff cable here (didn't know when I bought it!). Shoot me an email at campbell dot simpson at gmail dot com and I can scan it for you.
