H&R don't list the Cup kit for the Polo GTI, what is the product code? Does anyone know of a supplier in Brisbane?
I too would be keen on some model numbers for the H&R kits. Got a mate moving over to Germany in a couple of weeks, so hopefully he can purchase a set and send em over for me. Should be cheaper.
Might even be able to organise a group buy depending on how generous my mate is feeling......
Sell me your Polo GTI 9n3 and/or go fast bits.... please
In my previous car (2004 German Ford Fiesta LX 3door) i used king spring
'lows' and to say they were harsh is a severe understatement.
The car only dropped about 25 mm with the kingers but felt like it had been dropped 60mm.
Thats why i didnt even consider them on the GTI. I paid a premium to get a performance oriented hatchback, soo i figured if i was going to upgrade the springs i would go straight for what seem to be rated as the best springs.
Eibach prokit have been great. But they dont make terribly many products for the polo.
Well you can get custom KMAC springs made to any height for $550 installed. Thats what I have. I would suggest you get shocks to match although I havent yet.
$400 from ozzy tyres and st george tyres
i have kmacs in mine, im buying a angle grinder this weekend so i can lower the rear just abit more.

I had a Lancer GSR dropped to 70mm on King Spring Super-Lows. It loved the road, felt like a go cart. My uncle has a Porsche Boxster and I reckon this thing handled better although it didn't have as much power. I didn't think it was all that uncomfortable for normal driving. Plus it was fun.
I am also trying to decide what to do... with the suspension.
I know I do not want to spend more than $1000... and found one set of H&R springs for GTI $200 second hand.
Still deciding whether to get it or not, as I do not want to ruin the ride comfort.
There is mixed opinion from people about changing springs... Some say the ride is acceptable, and some say it's like go kart and very hard. I personally think the stock is quite firm yet comfortable.
comfort is quite important for me as I will do daily commute in this.
But hate the look of the SUV look... (it did save me damaging the chassis the other day, probably seen in the other thread)... and also hate the nose dive when braked hard.
So if you have done 'springs only', what do you think of the ride? did missus or the baby complain?
06 Polo GTI - REVO Stage 2 = 140kw @ wheels.
06 Golf GTI - Bluefin Stage 1 blacked out with ED30 theme, leather, xenon, etc.
I hated how the standard spings rode. I much prefer my Kmacs now even tho I do feel the bumps. It now looks much more like a sports car then a small 4x4.
I would sell my KMAC's for $350 to anyone interested.
That would allow me to buy coilovers.
Current - MY12 MK6 GTI, CW, Detriots, dark tint, APR Stage 1, blacked out grille, LED tails, Euro plates, suspension "tweaked", VCDS tweaks
"The Ex" Black MY08 POLO GTI - APR,Coilovers,5% tint, stubby antenna, rear sway bar

Ive got eibach pro kit on mine and it made a dramatic difference to the car and really rounds it out nicely.
Sits nicely, looks much better, handles bumps better and gets the power down nicely. Much less pitching and jiggling than stock which is what i hated. The stock shocks didnt seem to damp anything and bounced all over the place

Just so you know, if you talk to the right people, you can get them brand new for $250
If you go to AllSprings in Moorebank, you can get them for the same price and you can specify exact specs inc spring rate, EXACT hub to fender measurements etc... unlike KMAC.

Sorry, Bboy ... are you talking about Eibach Pro Kit for $250? ... If so ... I'm IN.
