The car is sensational, simply another level. Full kudos for the commitment, and resources.
So has it been modded to give you a laugh on the weekend or do you track it? Any quarter mile times and whatnot?Track Car: 06 Polo GTI Red Devil mkII
Daily: 2010 VW Jetta Highline
Gone but not forgotten: 08 Polo GTI

Not much of an update as I've been tackling the rewiring but here's a few pics of where I've got to.
Lots of this tape has been used

Drivers side from this

To this

Just waiting for my Rivnut tool and some alloy Pclips to arrive to secure the loom to the inner wing.
Passenger side from this

To this

Then

I have a couple more wires to solder then I can tape it all up and secure to the body which I hope to do on Friday night.
These also turned up but haven't even bothered opening the box yet as I want to sent the springs off to be powder coated as you will have seen in the above images.
KMAC Adjustable Top Mounts.

Awaiting some VibraTechnics engine mounts to arrive and the cars booked in for engine bay and front end respray in April.

Holy crap, that gives me cold sweats just looking at that wiring. And that god awful tape that everybody hates getting off.
Kudos for the effort, seriously unreal.

Most people are scared of wires but its not that bad.Originally posted by PranK View PostHoly crap, that gives me cold sweats just looking at that wiring. And that god awful tape that everybody hates getting off.

That tape is great stuff but I agree getting it off is another story.

Looks like a lot of work.
I agree wiring is not that hard, cutting a wire extending it and soldering it back together is not brain surgery.
Looking forward to seeing how it turns out, I will do this when I live somewhere with a garage
MODS- TOO MANY

Everything takes time and money but anything is achievable.Originally posted by VWindahouse View PostWay above my pay grade J. Can't wait to see the end result
Is the head any closer to going on?
The amount of mods on your car tells me a different story regarding pay grade
As for the head just picked it up yesterday so need to start sorting out the engine side of things soon
ThanksOriginally posted by MarcusAurelius View Postgreat build bud!

Dne some more today.
Moved the Evap solenoid to the rear and extended the loom for it to help clear up the clutter in the bay.
Disconnected it from here and pulled the white tube out from the bay

Then connected the solenoid

Then ran line up to the bay how I wanted it.

I do then plum in a 1way valve and T piece to run to the throttle body but forgot to take pics.
Also received my VT engine mounts so put them in just for the sake of it.

Received my KMAC top mounts. Only fitted one side so far.

Finished the wiring on the passenger side but forgot to take most recent pics. But here are a few during.

Fuses new home

Fitted the BBS on the rear

Next time I go down the garage Ill take a better camera as the quality of these pics is shocking.
