K-MAC front Camber and Caster adjustable Top Mount Group Buy
Guys you will receive the latest version of these which has been revised a few times because of my findings. As of yesterday I also received the revised components but unfortunately there is one last small issue so don't install them quite yet. Kevin has reduced the height of the alloy adjustment plate so there would be Zero height difference however he didn't adjust the height of the 3 little alloy spacers that sit between the two blue alloy plates that sandwich the adjustment plate in place to lock in your settings.
Two solutions - either contact Kevin and wait for new spacers to be sent or grind down the original ones by 3mm or so.
And make sure you get a comprehensive wheel alignment after install as your front toe will be very messed up to the point of wrecking your tyres within a few weeks.
Here are my readings that were hard to achieve because when you adjust castor camber is moved and when you adjust camber toe is moved. And if toe is out your tyres are shot quick smart. It was raining after I got this done so didn't go crazy testing it but so far it's clear there is tons of straight line grip and cornering is superb! A great investment so far amidst all the little hurdles.
It is obvious that you cant say on a weekend do some adjustments (add camber) and do some mountain runs etc, it would throw everything out and need another wheel allignment ?
So for track work you would need to add max camber and get it alligned, then the day after reduce camber and get another allignment, or is there somehow you could make a mark on the top for settings

I don't reckon I would do that Troy. I'd set it up and leave it. Lots of folk talk about camber wearing out tyres but that's not my experience. On my Mk1 GTI at least, it had all the camber you could get, a fair bit. With the Toe set as factory. I used to do thousands of motorway miles in it, in a year and it never chewed the tyres up ever.
I honestly would have thought that having around 1.8 to 2.5 degrees negative, with maybe 6 to 8 degrees of positive caster would be more than plenty. Smudge of toe-out on the front, along with 1 to 1.5 degrees negative on the rear with just a little toe-in to keep it settled.
