Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hi mate,
The pollen filter can be found under the glove box area, say above the passengers right foot. Just slide the two plastic tangs & the pollen filter will just fall out with the plastic cover strip that holds the filter up.
    Rgds,
    Jaimo.

I think my 96 Golf just had the filter replaced for the first time Mind you it was falling apart.

Being that your driving an '06 car I would be suprised if it needed replacing unless you have done lots of KM.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

I think it's due every 60k. Doesn't realy impact anything, just affects the smell of your air con.
