  • Help PLEASE....

    Hi Guys,
I am in the process of installing my gauges, however now that I have started, I seem to be a bit uncertain as to where to put the oil pressure/temp sendors. I took this photo, it is a picture of the top of the oil filter...
could any one tell me what number 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 are.....number 5 is the oil filter (for referance).

    Thanks

    1 a blank
2 oil feed to turbo, leave well alone
    3 pressure switch
    4 coolant pipe
    5 oil filter

You can remove that blank and go in there. The other choice is remove the pressure switch and fit a tee piece. Make sure you get the correct thread for the tee piece. Also, getting everything tight and pointing in the right direction can be hard work.
Can't offer you any more, having not done it recently.

Quick note, if you reference point of discussion in the title it makes searching work better down the track.
Vortex is full of bad titles, makes searching a nightmare...
