Thats a little gain for a lot of money.

Your better off concerntrating on how the engine breathes (Free flowing air filter, intake) and the exhausts (better flowing)

The small N/A engines do not deliver much from mods. However, it all adds up in the end. An intake + filter + exhaust and this ECU upgrade will probably turn the 1.6 Pacific into quite a nice little hatch.

10kw/20NM is not too bad for the chip alone on the N/A motor, may end up with 90-95kw and 180NM of torque with all the mods I listed above, which will actually make it a really nice drive.

I'd say do it. (all of it )

I agree with sharkie but do the intake/filter/exhaust before the chip

Be careful of powerchips claims, management's changed now and the smokes cleared but I still woudn't go near them.

If you want to know what I'm talking about just google Powerchip...

Steer clear of Power****... Here is some light reading from some very unhappy customers...

Powerchip : it is crap, more than one way.
