I had just turned the light off last night when i got your text and knew it was something big when you couldnt leave it till next day to tell me, mate thats awesome. The car is strong mate, last time i drove it i noticed the huge difference with the tyres i agree with you there mate.

However.... With a milltek downpipe and the GIAC tune, 17" TT wheels and bilsteins I did a 14 flat with an appalling 60ft time. No other mods, no semi slick tyres, no LSD.

So it isn't that unachievable with little amount of modifications.

Well done Jason, gotta love the onset of winter temps at willowbank. FWD platforms have come along way to think a relatively humble car can be running sub 14's.

How were your other runs that night? Getting consistent numbers?

Holy hell Lora, that's a good time. What peak boost level do you see with the GIAC tune?

VWthunder - the 215's are great for street and track but the hard compound of the Goodyears means I can't get a decent launch of sorts. So about 2000rpm and feathering out the clutch is the best start of the line for me. Would be a different story with some sticky rubber I think.

And yes it was the passenger side shorter drive shaft. It's now a hybrid A3/Polo job.
