I was always impressed by his footage, taking out cars that ought to be much faster. I was also surprised that the UK tuned polo's dyno numbers seemed to be much higher than ours, but then again dyno's aint dyno's.

Nice work mate, you make me want to break 15 which is probably about my talent level.

    -----------------

Just read over your mods again, our toys are quite similar. When is Gav coming to Sydney to do my tune?

How did you set the sways for the strip? I found the front on hard was good for traction.

And cracked pistons now. Wont ever see that on a BJX unless you have leaned it out for some very unknown reason. My money rests with the 1.8T all day. Even if you put way too much through the 02R tranny its nowhere near the $15k DSG price tag.

Good work mate! My car has most of the same mods and although I have never been down the quarter I think a 13 is definitely possible. I had a run with a VZ Maloo last night and from rolling start 2nd gear I was quite surprised that I not only beat him from 30-100 but actually pulled away as well! (he wasnt at all impressed with that) The little Polo can be quite a sleeper.

Thanks man, yeah it is a sleeper the problem is while rolling starts are a piece of the proverbial trying to get even a half decent launch is just nuts.

i disappear from the forum for a couple weeks and this is what i return to - a 13.6....bloody top stuff mate!
and 105 through the speed trap is a great figure too for a fwd car.
