It might do, never done it as a test though. Always best to measure the lambda as close to the manifold as possible.

Are both sensor wirings different in length? Do both sensors themselves actually have a different length?

Sorry mate, I can't tell that from ETKA. You'll just have to look. If they are in the right places, then have a check and see if the wiring could be swapped over.

Got underneath the car today and it was just too hard to work with unfortunately. I couldn't read the numbers on the plug as it was written in black on a black background. According to Ross Tech, its either:

17584/P1176/004470 - Bank1: O2 (Lambda) Correction Behind Catalyst: Control Limit Reached

          Possible Causes
          Intake Air System leaking
Oxygen Sensor(s) and/or Oxygen Sensor Control faulty

          Possible Solutions
Check Intake Air System for Leaks (False Air)
Check Oxygen Sensor(s) and/or Oxygen Sensor Control (all of them!)

I've done a smoke test for any boost leaks and it came up squeaky clean. So my best bet is that the sensors may be gone after 27,000kms. I really hope the sensors aren't mixed up. I think the car is running rich because I can always smell the fumes/fuel and the tip of the exhaust seems like there is soot (A black powdery or flaky substance).

I think I'll need to take it to the exhaust place or get it on a dyno and put it on the hoist and double check this again. Seriously, this is killing me.

Can anyone meet up with me this Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and log my car and tell me if the car is running rich? Or just do some general data logging..

I've got a track day this Sunday and would not run the car if something is not looking right.. This would be a great help, please!

correct me if im wrong but doesn't the location of the O2 affect the reading as well? I remember reading this somewhere but i'm not 100% sure

Are you able to get a live reading of the O2 sensor?

where are you? I'll try and borrow a VAS machine and see if we can log it
