Anybody have any comments on these. Directionally slotted and drilled/dimpled. What are they worth new.

I've got the RDA slotted on my T5 and they distorted after 20,000km , I can't say that I would be hard on the brakes, the front pads (Bendix GCT) still had 11mm remaining, that's after 20,000km.Performance Tunes from $850Wrecking RS OCTAVIA 2 Link -
Gold passivated just means they have been zinc plated with hexavalent chromium and it gives them that horrible rainbow yellow colour, doesn't really add any benefit whatsoever. I looked into rda discs a while ago, came up with a lot of the same stories as transporter...sigpic
