First impressions.. there's definitely a noticeable amount of engine vibration coming from the new mount. It's not bugging me at the moment though and seems to have tightened things up between gear shifts (no engine rocking in between) Yet to see if the missus is ok with it...
That seems to be everyones feedback on it, including the impressions from the other half. I've resisted doing mine for the reasons you've mentioned.

Yeah there is a noticable amount of vibration at first, but after having it on for a while, it goes un-noticed.

It gets worse with the air-con on.

It's fantastic when you're driving, but when your taking off from a hill or reversing up a hill (with a bit of load on the engine) the trims start to vibrate I'll give it a week to see if it grows on me.

One of the reasons I changed the bush was the flexi on the Milltek downpipe is rather fat and required the heat shield be manipulated away from it. It was still pretty tight and would rub on occasion. The bush has fixed that problem but I've obviously now got the engine vibrations coming through
I'm thinking I might ditch the Milltek and get an APR downpipe and put the stock catback section on. The APR downpipe has the flexi lower down away from the firewall, for obvious reasons now.

The APR downpipe is fantastic. The sound of it dumping after revving it out to 5.5rpm is awesome. It's throaty at idol and has a great burble on let-off.

I recon the stock exhaust sounds quite good, anything louder would be a little ricey for the car.. also noticed it has a slight burble to when you let off, more notable with the window down in a car park, sounds good

Okie dokie, so I ordered a new OEM bush from VW (you have to order the complete arm :/)
Switched it back over today and I'm happy again
To be honest I probably would have kept it if I could've found the phantom rattle in my dash (not for a lack of trying let me tell you!)
Funny enough I notice the positive effects of the PU bush more now that I don't have it
Personally I still prefer the stock bush.
So I now have a practically new complete lower arm with APR bush for sale:

Also, while I was at VW got them to check if my car was affected by the coilpack recall (no, thankfully) but interestingly another recall has been issued within the last few weeks for faulty rear air-bag electrics, which I do need to get checked out. Thought it might interest some. I'll post the campaign number when I find it. EDIT: Campaign 97W5

After chasing some elusive vibrations and moving the muffler down, I discovered what I thought was the exhaust hitting the bumper was actually coming from some little vents in the spare wheel well. If you look in the spare wheel well back towards the rear of the car there's two vents with little flaps on them. The flaps were.. flapping Sounded like a vibration when your driving. I've removed the flaps and all is well (easy enough to put back in if I have to). Does anyone know what purpose these serve?
Mine is doing exactly the same thing. Did you have to take bumper off to get to the vents?

You can see them when you access the spare tyre. Probably don't have to take the tyre out to feel them

                            Hey Noone,

Yea I can see them but wanted to know how to get them out. I didn't have good lighting so I couldn't see very well but I could see the clips holding them in place. Not sure which way they clip into place. I'll have another look tonight when I get home from work. But other than that definitely loving it more. Really throaty and love the burble.

You realise that if you pull them out you will get road noise and fumes into the car?
These flaps are one way over pressure valves that release when you close the doors or hatch. If you reverse them, there is no canceling of the over pressure, and you may damage window or door seals.
