Milltek Exhaust

Checked Elsawin and they're called the stale air vents. No other instructions on how to remove them. I'm not going to block or reverse the vents I want to remove the flaps. It literally sounds like a helicopter in the distance, pretty annoying. But if others have taken them off and had no issue then sweet.

Sorry for the late reply mate. Yep they're in the wheel well. From what I remember I just pushed the clips in and they fell into the bottom of the rear bumper. You can get to them from the rear wheel well/bumper area there's a hole in the bumper, you'll find it. Stick your hand in either side and grab them out. I took the rubber flaps off the vents and then just pushed the bare vents back in to the holes (reverse to how they were) I haven't noticed any fumes or additional road noise so I call that a win

My Milltek full system arrived today and I'll tackle it over the weekend.

Just wondering if any of you had trouble unbolting the old exhaust from the turbo or if you guys have any tips on the install?

Ok, so I've had the Milltek on for a while now. Still love it.
However, I'd like to try and eliminate some of the drone... I currently have the non-resonated version.
Does anyone have a resonator fitted to their current exhaust combo?
I'm wondering what a good size would be to fit, I can't find any info on what size res is fitted to the resonated Milltek version.
I just want to quieten it down a little, the drone at 1500-3000 rpm under load gets on my nerves sometimes.

How long have you had it on? Ive read they can take a while to bed in, develop their sound fully.

It's been on for 12 days now. I realise it should get a bit deeper over time but I was hoping for more of a difference over stock

Just out of curiosity, how much louder in cabin would you say the resonated Milltek system is over stock? My system is noticeably louder. It's not a loud system in general, it sounds great outside but I'd like it a little quieter inside...

Unfortunately mine actually got quieter after time I have the rear seats, spare and carpet out most of the time and it's still not very noticeable from the cabin. Nice and deep at WOT but that's about it unless a window is down.

If you can't find someone to swap with it would be very easy to cut the resonator out for a shop and weld in some stainless pipe.
