    Hoyhoy.
Dave have you tried adjusting the knuckle for curiosty sake.
You can't see when the threads are gone , only feel it when adjusting.
    Hooroo.

    • Yea, happened to me too. I think i over tightened it... then as its pulls itself together instead of stopping, it just melds together until you can only adjust half a turn each way. Still works.... just use it as non adjustable, which it probably should have been in the first place.

      • Interesting.

I'll check mine. I think the effective shortening of the bolt could be a problem.

I've thought about getting half inch or so longer bolts to hold the brace down.

I've noticed a couple of small metal filings on the rubber hose under where the screw thread adjustment is. Will check it out.

        • Ive had mine off no problems and if you look through the seat ibiza mk4 secrion of the forge catalogue the strut brace still says its for the polo as well. Not sure but the site has chnged since i was online last and maybe they havent linked it yet,

Dave, me think that the KW-V3's would put a lot more of a load on things. Plus I'm not as old as you & get 600KM's/ tank.,,,,,,,,,,,

                  • Mine came off and on a couple of times fine. But i just overtighened it one time, and didn't want to come off. Still works, just take it off at the ends, as a solid piece.
