I'm pretty sure the Polo GTI is only the K03.

Guy, what do people in the industry call the K03 Sport?

I'm pretty sure that they are the K03 as the mk4 GTI was the 1.8T with a K03, same engine isn't it?

The MKIV had two 1.8T engines, the 180 & 150bhp. The engines are similar, not exactly the same.

I think that they were the anniversary ones that came with more power, although quite good though.

Its probably easier than saying the "slightly larger than K03, but not near as large as the K04 version"

If you go to this page:

                    http://http://www.turbodriven.com/en...arch/index.asp

Select Audi A3 1.8T you will see the different partnumbers including the 132kw versions & 110kw versions.

There's a few different ones for the VW's as well (no polo listed) - there doesnt seem to be any extra info on the turbine sizes there.

On another part of the page:

                    http://www.turbos.bwauto.com/en/prod...senger_gas.asp

                    You will see that a K03 is good for 150kw's & a K04 for around 185kw's

Ok guys had it on for a day now and well i think engine seems to be revving easier but maybe im imagining things i also seem to be able to keep traction light on all the way through 1st in the dry this again may be me giving it more than usual but i def feel a difference. Guy can correct me here but if i was to do it again maybe do all intake mods ie throttle body intake and the air intake 1st then get the cpu flashed as may make more of a difference. But for 160 bucks and 15mins it was worthwhile

Have to say this, but for $160 in comparison to a $30-50 tubing instead which has a bigger opening/mouth and better feed which does the exact same thing.

Prime example of a car with it, Ashs GIAC at 137fwkw.

Bit of money for such little improvement, turbo inlet pipe most definately for $300 you cant complain

Well to me the looks i.e keeping it looking as standard as possible is worth the extra bucks instead of having a cop defect you for the cai and hosing

                              seat ibiza???? cupra air intake

I can understand what you mean.... $160 seems quite hard to justify for a piece of plastic which probably costs $10 to produce.

But at the end of the day some will spend that extra bit to have something which looks factory. Even on parts which may or may not improve the performance of the car.

Guy is that power measured at the engine or at the wheels? 150kwatw seems impressive if that's the case
