Quick Q, can anyone clarify how I remove the lower half of the airbox. Top half is easy enough, but lower half isn't as obvious.

Current Ride: Evo 8 MR, Fabia MK3

there is only one screw to undo.

if you are standing at the front of the car, look at the lower right corner of the airbox. there's a screw around that area (a bit deep). remove that and pull the lower half out.

the airbox is held in place by 2 things - the screw mentioned above, and a piece of rubber (don't know what else to call it) somewhere around the lower middle section. this rubber is similar to the one that holds the engine cover in place.

to the guys that have an early build (Oct05 - May06) that has the HWY gearbox, i have a spare set of side/side bushings that i can't use (the later build guys if you're looking at installing these, purchase the Mk5 one that caters for the plastic bracket).

willing to give it away for 10 bucks if you're in Melbourne (can't be bothered shipping, sorry interstate guys) so PM me if you want it!

                Bummer.

06 Golf GTI - Bluefin Stage 1 blacked out with ED30 theme, leather, xenon, etc.

                  Group Buy

There is a group buy for going on (been relocated here) for 42DD hardware.

If you want to get these bushes (Mk4 for early builds, Mk5 for later), PM Greg Roles to let him know what you are after.

                      Same question here

There are also 5S and 6S varieties in the MK5 06-07 shifter bushings, which one is it?
