slower changes? try the dogmount. that makes the change more accurate and you can swap cogs much quicker.

Seemed to smooth things up a bit as well as eliminating the crunch. But I've always tried not to slam changes super fast the way you can in, say, an MX5.Originally posted by noone View PostI don't have crunching, but the changes can be slower than I would like.
Does the Redline help with the changes over all?

I have the dogmount. My car (06) has the first gearbox which does not seem to be as troublesome as some of the later models. The changes happen fine, but its just a little clunky at times (especially when the revs are not matched).Originally posted by jesum View Postslower changes? try the dogmount. that makes the change more accurate and you can swap cogs much quicker.
Think I'll have a search around, have not looked at the gearbox threads particularly before.

I too have th dog bone mount. It has made changing gears smoother and less clunky. I've only grinded once when going up in gears. Reversing a few times.
But will definitely also look into the Redline MTL and also give that a go.Current:
