umm... they come stock with floor mats... as for the sun roof thing... its a personal thing... if you like it get it.. if you dont thats fine, but dont try and talk someone out of it just because you personally dont like it. They work fine, arent too small, and if something goes wrong my warranty will fix it. Plus girls like sunroof's

when i was ordering my car the only candy white GTI in aus that wasnt spoken for was still on a boat on its way over from spain.

Had my fresh white gti with leather but no sunroof.

I wasnt a huge fan of the sunroof to be quite honest. mainly because i didnt know if i could justify an extra one thousand and something dollars for it.

But on the other hand if the one on the boat which i got had a sunroof then i would of not cared and bought it anyway.

So basically i took what i could get at the time, luckily enough for me it was a fresh one still on the boat

whoa whatever buddy, how bout I open my mouth a bit wider so you can jump down it a bit further Take a chill pill. And I was stating that they are bout 1/4 the size of the MINI sunroof I was looking at. So yes they are small. People come to forums like these to ask people's opinions, I gave mine. Silly enough, the cars get transported back to Germany, then shipped here. So we could prob get our cars a week earlier if they came direct from Spain.

Possibly. When you look at the shipping website that you track your VIN with, mine left from Bremem or Bremerhaven (sound so similar).

Not that I'm aware of. My mates Cooper S JCW was on the same boat over here as my GTI. He went to the extent of saving pics from the Freemantle and Melbourne Ports Webcam as our boat was leaving the ports (you can find the webcam on their Website). I'll post them up later tonight, they're even dated and time stamped.

Oh man, I just came across this forum. I just payed 29k drive away w/o options 27k drive away?!?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo The only thing they threw in was slim line plates, mats, and a full tank of fuel

You have been slightly had by the dealership and what they have done is slightly illegal.
If i were you i would make a call to the dealer principal and explain the situation.

I think you will find him/her to be quite helpful in this sort of situation.

Save yourself two grand by making a 15 minute phone call.... do yourself a favour mate.

P.s dont let this spoil your experience. The GTI polo is a truely extrordinary car.
