What do you love about your Polo?

strange but true.

I left my handbrake on (just very lightly) put it in "R" parked the car for 15mins, came back started the car, and drove off, then "BING BING BING" im like WTF (got my seatbelt on)?! oh right, my handbrake LOL

Cool feature i'd say! The handbrake light was on but i wasn't paying attention to it, so an alarm sound is so cool!!!

What I really love about my Polo is how you can cruise around town being very gentle with the throttle and it just automatically feels more luxurious/prestigious -- the awesome feedback and feel of the steering wheel and gear shift is something that still amazes me. Such a small and cute car but she drives and feels like something much bigger.

looks good mate, my mechanic has an Edition 30 wheel laying around his house and said i could buy it off him at a VERY reasonable price....hmmm. maybe after my wheels.

Buttons don't work

No the steering wheel buttons don't work although the control module is still in the wheel it doesn't communicate with the steering angle sender!! I originally had a DSG wheel on it (paddle shifts) but sold it to a friend who has a DSG GT. I'll try my hardest to try get my hands on some more. I'll keep you all posted. Cheers'

yeah, or they go "oh, nice.......*walk around the back*......GTI!" because it doesn't say Polo they aren't too sure which one it actually is.

yeah my mates keep calling it a golf.... my plates say vw polo so my mates must just be really ****ing dumb, okay it says V-WP 070 but still not that hard to remember

My receipt from the brake workshop states my car is a Golf GTI. Same on my speeding ticket. Most annoying though was when an now x-gf called it a Volvo.
