Well on Saturday after the happy laps, Anthony threw me the keys to his pride and joy, the red devil. I didn't drive it on the track, just a short run up the road. I drove the car about 2 years ago when mine was standard and it was probably around stage 2 modification, it left a lasting impression than. 2yrs on, it's clearly undergone quite a development.

In terms of power deliver, it's simply solid through the whole rev range. Whereas before, and with mine now, the power deliver feels elastic in the way it builds in to a peak, the red devil feels much more linear, and has phenomenal power throughout, yet cruises along at 70km/h in fifth without faze.

The brakes and clutch are certainly much better than the standard set-up with increased feel. My car always feels a little tired after the track, the first time I apply the brakes after the track it's like holding pieces of wood to the rotors, no such thing in the devil, still plenty of feel, even at low speeds with no heat. (I want those brakes, and clutch, and, and, and, etc )

Heading out to BPS again mate. Good set up out there and James knows his stuff.

Well seems the swap to the Seat intercooler has bared fruit

Power up from 141.9 to 147.1, so a 6kW gain at the wheels.
Torque up from 374.5 to 376.4, so a 1.9Nm gain at the wheels (see below for reason)
And finally boost has increased just over 1 psi increase in peak boost.

Here are the charts showing the overlapped baseline runs also.



As you can see the blue line shows the IC is holding boost longer in the higher rev range. But it seems i'm now getting some retardation in torque at 3200rpm where is wasn't before. He said it's because i'm leaning out which my air fuel ratio shows as well. So next thing will be bigger injectors and fuel pump and that will translate into even more torque

You are only 6kw down on me with my bigger turbo. Guess i should get my seat cooler on and a little bit more fiddling and hit the dyno

Yes mate, over the moon thanks! Yes thinking of getting a Wavetrac but no one can tell me what size ring gear to get. Our Polo's are either 113mm or 114mm ring gear. The Polo's came out with both
