it is the stock intercooler from the Ibiza Cupra D.
and yes, the front bar still fits
i don't think it will give a problem with the radiator cooling,
but youre wheater is different then Belgium so i don't know for sure

Today i went back on the dyno with the airfilter and full milltek.
result was 167.7Hp and 254.9nM (140.3WHp)
the milltek and airfilter gave me 6hp and 4nM
i'm verry happy with the result, but i thought the milltek would give me some more,
thought i would have around 175Hp or so.
but it really doesn't matter, the car goes strong, thats what's important!

yes thats me and my Polo GTi
back then i only had airfilter on it and lowered with KW suspension.
i have alot more video's on Youtube, if you look on the name "Turbomier" you should see alot other cool stuff of my car

yesterday i've had a service on my Polo and put some new toys under the hood.
finally fitted the Seat Cupra D intercooler on it.

Result:




we did have to cut some plastic from the bumper and a plastic useless grill holding thing.
but it's a perfect fit and i'm verry pleased with the result
in about 2 hours we had it fixed on the car and the most work we had was with the bumper, but that wassn't even a hard job to do!
so i really recommend this FMIC because it's a part of VAG and it was alot cheaper than any other FMIC i have searched for

another update...

went to a dragrace yesterday on Circuit of Zolder.
first one i did in warm weather with the seat IC and i had no heatsoak at all!
verry happy with that mod.
but i won't let you guys down...
i have video's of the dragrace and i'm sure you are going to love this one :-p

Great vids! -- but please tell me how you beat a chipped Polo? Everything/everyone on this forum says that it's night/day difference performance wise, yet not only did you beat a chipped Polo, but I'd couldn't tell which was which from the take off.

i don't know mate, i wish i could tell you.
the Polo was done by autotune heinz in Belgium.
i know the tuner and is one of the best around here in Belgium.
i wish i could say i beat him at the launch, that was the case but, i had a bad start, normally i'm faster than that.
so when i had a bit grip i directly pulled away from first gear allready.
so i go to second gear and i'm thinking, now he should come pass me, nothing happend and he stayed a carlength behind.
3th gear, i still thinking, now he's going to nail me, still nothing happend :-s
even true finish i had him with 1 carlength...
i am the one on the left on the video, driving on the right lane looked from drivers position.
my car was also lowered, his polo did not and was stock outside.

My honest opinion, i think the car is not mapped right or so.
because it IS a huge day/night difference between stock and chipped.

Does he have a FMIC ? Heat soak might have been an issue for him.
