Now i know its going to be hard to match mettallics but is the difference in colour that noticable in real life btwn the body and the painted panels?
In the photos there seems to be a slight difference, but to be honest in the flesh, I can't notice any difference at all. I think photography really brings out any sort of change in colour. I've checked it VERY closely and it looks spot on to me.
Thanks mate sorry for all the posts, last question, how is the texture on them? Smoothed or rough?
I went for the 'rough' option which i was quoted $350. You can still see the texture a little bit but I'm not really concerned because it's only on a small bit of plastic. From a distance you can't see the texture, it's only up close. I had the option (for $500) to get the skirts fully sanded back to perfectly smooth before paint, but that cost didn't seem necessary on just the lower skirts.
nice mate, no fluro green yet though?? how did you do the back all silver or did you leave part of it black?
Yeah I got the bloke to leave that little part black. I was going to do it all silver but prefer the little black part there. I have a photo from the back I will post up tonight.
