One other thing I want to make perfectly clear as well.. Unless you own a Seat Cupra this lip is not a direct fitment and will require some modification to fit. As i have not had a chance to confirm what is involved yet. I am not in a position to offer advice on fitting.

Yeah I know.. I just think the point needs to be made clear as the original ebay ad doesnt really say much.

          I'm looking forward to this

Fuzion, can you link to the instructions you've mentioned. I've only seen one link you put up in this thread and it doesn't link properly (i don't want to buy a domain). Thanks

            why the hell not? lol

plenty of info online, just google and you'll find a fair few pages with installation info!

also try google.co.uk as aussie google tends to hide a lot of things.

Woah! I knew it was not going to be a perfect fit, but this seems pretty fiddly...

I'm a little sceptical at using a guide for fitting it to a different vehicle...

Thanks Tim, once they've landed and you've got one, will you be having a look at fitting one so the rest of know how easy / hard its going to be? I'd be happy to be a guinea pig, but not sure i've got the skills here...

I bought mine as part of direct group buy and paid a similar price - thats a good price Tim!!

As far as fitting goes, I just gave the car and the lip to a local (small time) panel shop and said I'd be back at 5pm.

                fits perfectly!!

Looking at the guide, it's just using a heat gun and dremel or cordless drill. Not hard stuff to do, as Fuzion said there are some other guides, all very similar, nothing too high tech. Looks like the best method is to remove the under trays and use those as a guide ... seems like you just match the curves

Beats the normal "make fit" method of hammer, screw driver and lots of cursing.

Thanks Tim for your effort on this.

I was one of the original interested parties, but I'm just not 100% sure now that I will be able to do the modifying well. As I'm dropping the car further, I'm not convinced a dodgy install is a good idea...

Will you be doing this yourself in the coming days / week? I'd like to see it successfully done on the Pog before I commit...

its pretty flexible. it can be made to fit almost anything with a bit of coaxing.

Tim, I kinda missed this thread, being in the polo section...let me know if you might have any left over, definitely interested after seeing Gareth's and some recent pics from trezza and tomtom.
                              Thanks
