Having spent all my time hotting up old minis, i know what a spongy (poorly bled) system feels like. This isn't it. The pedal is nice and firm, but lower in the stroke. I've no doubt it now pulls up hard, time after time, but it is not as nice to drive. Are there different versions (piston size) of the same caliper that can be used? I bought this setup off MACCAA here, and i know he wouldn't mess about with dodgy parts so i don't doubt the parts.Originally posted by Guy_H View PostStuwey, I'm with Timbo on this one - we ran that combo before we went to Alcons & it worked pretty well for a single piston upgrade.
Get it checked out!
I'm running red-stuff pads, what about you lot?Cheap, Fast, Reliable. Choose two.

Actually, I drove MACCAA's car a few times. We both had exactly the same set-up, but his pedal did always feel softer than mine. Worked fine, but now I think I know what you mean. We were using Ferodo DS2500s, but maybe there's different pistonsOriginally posted by Stuwey View PostI bought this setup off MACCAA here, and i know he wouldn't mess about with dodgy parts so i don't doubt the parts.

The project is coming along well.. Got the Brembo's on and PSS 9's in the car now.. The brake kit was around 4 grandish AUD (estimate as i can't really remember).
VWindahouse,
The stage 3 clutch is much firmer than the stock one mate.. However, like new footy boot's, you get very well adjusted to it..
