Resale Value when new polo comes out?

I got hosed on the trade in for my GTI even though it only has 30000km and new car warranty until late Dec 2010. I managed to screw around the dealer but the only way they would offer me what I thought it was worth was if I paid list price for the new car. I agreed but then screwed in a few optional extra's at no charge

may I ask what they initially offered for trade. I don't need to know where you finally got them to - that's your business and fill kudos.

I reckon you should look at getting a 12 month old second hand polo and let someone else take the depreciation hit. They seem to have dropped a bit in value in the last 6 months and will continue to do so.

Also, I was under the impression the new polos were out in 2010 but the GTI version not until 2011.

should be the same as the new Cupra 1.4 180Hp or so..
