don't understand your question, as I don't know what SFA means...

And I forgot to mention that the seat intake is the only engine mod on the car.

        SFA= Sweet F&$% All

as in not a lot of difference, but i think floody was assuming your car was chipped.

          Thanks for the translation :p

ps: and the LEGEND for the chart:
          - air mass is measured on g/s
          - engine load is measured in %
          - injection period is measured in ms
          * air mass and engine load are on the left vertical scale and injection period is on the right scale.

Ahh sorry RoSonic, didn't notice you were an international guest

I'm interested that this is the only time I've seen someone do the graphs. I always doubted the Seat did much.

              No problem

Don't really know exactly how to interpret the graphs in terms of horsepower gains...as I'm no expert in this, but my logic tells me that if there is more air and the injection period is longer these should mean some more power, right ?

It's interesting the extra air mass above 4k rpm. With a tune and a TIP (where you are getting greater air mass into the turbo) the SEAT must help out.

Would be interested to get someone like Guys opinion on that.

probably on stock tune you are correct.

but seeing as it has a small increase on stock tune it could be deduced that it would have a large increase on a chipped car IMO.

i agree with kiel. sure even then it wouldnt make much differance , but wtf do you expect for round $200 , miracles? in my books a gain in any respect is still a gain , regardless of how small it is.

From my point of view, I dont regret the "investment". It's a good improvement (or just an improvement, as Mikepologti said) for ~100US$.
And I'm sure it will be a good match with the forge TIP (I've already bought it, but did not install it yet - will do some more logging after) .

Those were the 2 things that I was thinking of upgrading first. It's kinda reassuring even if the gains are marginal, it's still a gain. At least it's not like money gone to waste.

I'm not convinced about the benefit of the air filter upgrade, but the PD160 or Pod filter is very useful after a chip.
